Bucket List
The concept of a bucket list is a pretty established one and while we are still in the first month of 2018, I thought I would write my own. I’m a firm believer in writing things down. I have a diary I use regularly and I like to note things down to help me remember and to hold myself to account. So with that in mind, here is my bucket list as it stands. I’ve kept this to things I feel are challenging yet achievable, and activities which will help…
My Mod 1 experience
After four days of pretty intense training, dropping the bike a few times and a what felt like thousands of figure of eights, I was ready to take my Mod 1 test. My test was at a North London test centre which is pretty notorious for having a pretty low pass rate and some not so friendly examiners. After doing some last minute practise on the off-road site, my instructor, one other student and I got on our bikes to travel to the test site. As soon as I got…
Motorcycle Live review and R6 test ride

They also had a great social media presence, with loads of positive reviews online. Following my assessment ride, I booked in for a 5 day DAS course which included the cost of both the Mod 1 and Mod 2…
Go straight for DAS?
I always knew I wanted to get a full motorbike licence and after I passed my CBT in September I spent a lot of time deliberating what route I wanted to go down to get it. There are two different options available after passing your CBT – you could go and get a 125 and ride that to get experience or you could go straight to the DAS and ride a big bike. In February 2017 I went to the Motorbike show in ExCel and while I was there I…
